<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell separator to enable humidification of reaction gas and water supply to an electrolyte membrane/electrode catalyst composite by holding product water, and to prevent closure of a flow passage due to the product water in a reaction gas flow passage of a separator. <P>SOLUTION: In the separator for supplying fuel gas or oxidizer gas to the electrolyte membrane/electrode catalyst composite of a fuel cell, a porous body composed of two layers is equipped.
