摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device capable of preventing any irregular ingress of a shift lever into a second guide groove when the shift lever is moved in an oblique direction within a first guide groove, and preventing the degradation of the shift feeling. <P>SOLUTION: In the shift lever device, gate parts 122, 124 are brought into contact with a semi-spherical part 57 of a detent pin 56 sliding on a connection-sliding surface 114 to limit the moving direction of the detent pin 56 in the direction substantially matched with the select direction. Thus, even if the operational force including the load component inclined in the shift direction with respect to the select direction is applied to the shift lever 14 when a shift lever integrally moved with the detent pin 56 passes through a connection guide groove 104, the passage of the shift lever between the gate parts 122, 124 is prevented by the reaction force transferred from the pair of gate parts 122, 124 via the detent pin 56, and the moving direction of the shift lever is limited only in the direction substantially matched with the select direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
