PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean both contactors with inrush current by the precharge current of a capacitor. SOLUTION: The contactors 2 in an in-vehicle power supply unit, provided with the contactors 2 for connecting a driving battery 1 with a load 11 on a vehicle side, in which a capacitor is connected in parallel and with a precharge circuit 3 for charging the capacitor 13 of the load 11, are cleaned by this cleaning method for contactors. The contactors 2 includes a first contactor 2A and a second contactor 2B, while the precharge circuit 3, connected in parallel with the second contactor 2B, is equipped with a precharge resistor 6 and a precharge switch 7 which are connected in series each other. In this method, both the first contactor 2A and the second contactor 2B are turned on with the timing of the flow of the precharge current of the capacitor 13, and the first contactor 2A and the second contactor 2B are cleaned by the inrush current by the precharge current of the capacitor 13.
