PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip holder capable of holding a channel chip, and circulating more easily sample liquid in a channel in the channel chip. SOLUTION: This chip holder 1A holds the channel chip 40A having the channel 43 inside, wherein a liquid introduction hole 44 for introducing the sample liquid W into the channel and a liquid discharge hole 45 for discharging the sample liquid from the channel are formed. The chip holder 1A includes a base member 10 on which the channel chip is placed; a well member 20 mounted on the base member, pressing the channel chip, and having a well 26 for waiting the sample liquid supplied into the liquid introduction hole; and a cover member 30 mounted on the base member, pressing the channel chip, and having the first pipe 33 connected to the liquid discharge hole and the second pipe 37 inserted into the well 26. The well member 20 has a connection member 27 for connecting the well to the liquid introduction hole and allowing the sample liquid in the well to flow into the liquid introduction hole.
