PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a storage area in automatic acquisition of a content in a content management device capable of manually and automatically acquiring the content from another device, and a content management program operated in the content management device. SOLUTION: When a manually acquired content cannot be stored during storage, all automatic contents which satisfy a first condition (read) are deleted, all automatic contents which satisfy a second condition (passage of a predetermined period) are deleted, and automatic contents which satisfy a third condition (oldest) are deleted until an empty space for storing the manually acquired content can be ensured. When an automatically acquired content cannot be stored during storage, all automatic contents satisfying the fist condition (read) are deleted, all automatic contents satisfying the second condition (passage of a predetermined period) are deleted, and automatic contents satisfying the third condition (oldest) are deleted until the empty space for storing the automatically acquired content can be ensured.
