摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further surely prevent damage to an arm or an installation bracket, by reinforcing an arm body, a web plate and the installation bracket. SOLUTION: This cylinder installing structure of an excavation work machine is formed by fixing the installing bracket to the arm, and supporting one end of a cylinder by the installation bracket. The web plate of the arm is welded to an opening end side midway part immersed in the back wall side more than the outer end surface of a pair of side walls of an arm body. The installation bracket has a pair of right-left installation walls and a connecting wall for connecting bottom side ends of the pair of installation walls. One end of the cylinder is rotatably supported around a support shaft between the pair of installation walls. Both ends of the connecting wall of the installation bracket are welded to the outer end surface side of the pair of side walls of the arm body. A pair of connecting pieces are projected on both end sides in the arm lengthwise direction of the connecting wall. The pair of connecting pieces are bent to the back wall side of the arm body from the connecting wall, and inserted between the pair of side walls.
