PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter stopper which functions to fix a shutter at an arbitrary height by inserting a right-rectangular wedge-shaped tip into a gap between an upper portion of a shutter rear surface and an upper portion of a window frame, and slightly raising the shutter, at the time of using a manually operable shutter. SOLUTION: A plurality of grooves each having a width corresponding to the length of a link of shutters (slats) 6 are formed at the bottom surface of the wedge-shaped right-triangular shutter stopper. An interval between the grooves conforms to the center of the shutter (slat). Each groove is formed in parallel with the short side of the bottom surface of the rectangular shutter stopper. The height of the wedge-shaped right-angular shutter stopper is set to a distance slightly longer than the gap between the upper portion of the shutter rear surface and the upper portion of the window frame. Further a plurality of magnetic bodies are embedded and bonded to areas between the grooves formed at the right-angular bottom surface. When the tip of the right-angular wedge-shaped shutter stopper is inserted into the gap between the upper portion of the shutter rear surface and the upper portion of the window frame from the inside of a room to raise the shutter, the wedge-shaped shutter stopper bites in the shutter to fix the same.
