PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rustproof coating capable of forming a thin film which does not generate cracks even when it is baked at an elevated temperature using no harmful metal compound such as chromium at all. SOLUTION: The rustproof coating comprises 5-40 mass% of an organosilicon compound, 0.05-5.0 mass% of an organic titanate compound, 20-60 mass% of one or more metal powders selected from the group consisting of zinc powder, zinc alloy powder, and aluminum powder, and 10-60 mass% of an organic solvent.
