PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embroidery data processor which can attach an IC tag capable of storing a lot of information to a working cloth without impairing the design of the working cloth. SOLUTION: An IC tag area determined on the basis of the size and shape of the IC tag is acquired first (S10), and then whether or not the IC tag area can be included in an applique pattern area determined on the basis of applique pattern data is judged (S20). When the judgment is that it can be included, the arranging positions of the applique pattern area and the IC tag area are set so that the IC tag area is arranged inside the applique pattern area (S20). Then, corresponding to whether or not the IC tag is to be arranged on a cloth piece (S60), data for sewing a mark to be a mark when arranging the IC tag are prepared and added (S70 and S80), and data for sewing a lock stitch to sew the IC tag to the working cloth are prepared and added (S90).
