PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ashtray for a game machine capable of preventing cigarette butts or the like from being accidentally scattered by inadvertent contact and allowing easy cleaning and collection work or the like. SOLUTION: An ashtray body (60) having a recessed part (61) for storing cigarette butts or the like is rotatably provided so as to reciprocatively move in the direction to be inserted into and leave from an ashtray storage part (50) formed in a catch pan member (4). Also, by providing moderation means (86a, 76b) which elastically slide-contact with each other at an initial position where the ashtray body is slightly tilted, its rotation is in a restricted state unless an operator or the like intentionally turns the ashtray body. By this, the scattering accident of the cigarette butts or the like caused by inadvertent contact is prevented, and the work of collecting its content can be easily performed.
