PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out and house cosmetic equipment by a simpler operation without taking time or labor. SOLUTION: The compact container is configured to be freely opened and closed by attaching the rear parts of a container body and a lid body with a hinge and releasing the lock of the container body and the lid body in linkage with the operation of pushing in a hook piece arranged at the front parts of the container body and the lid body. A push-up member for pushing up the cosmetic equipment is extended in the direction of the inside of the container body on the hook piece, a hinge part for bending the distal end of the push-up member upwards is formed in the middle of the push-up member, and an inclined part for moving the distal end upwards when the hook piece is pushed in is formed on the container body.
