The roof has a cover unit (18) guided in guide rails, where a roof opening is alternatively closed or partially released by the unit. The unit with its back edge is swivelable upwards from its closing position with respect to a fixed roof surface. The opening has a screen (24) for screening a driving mechanics for the unit, where the screen is flexibly deformed during deviation of the unit in a perpendicular direction. The screen is made of laminar material, where the material is elastically expandable in an exposing direction of the unit and is stretched while exposing the unit. |
