A method to activate seed which consists in irradiating the seed of cereals with electromagnetic energy of the SHF range with an energy consumption of 1.4-1.6 kWt/kg in the course of 7-15 s at an initial moisture content of 9-15% is applied. In doing so the activation of the seed is carried out by means of transmitting the bioelectric energy from an radiating object, that is the irradiated seed, to a consuming one, that is nonirradiated seed. Temperature stabilization of the irradiated seed is carried out for 10 days under normal conditions, then it is mixed with nonirradiated marked seed and hold for 14 days with the following mechanical separation. |
