The method involves beginning the operation of an electric motor (14), and checking a D-relationship of a rotational speed of the electric motor under load to a rotational speed of the electric motor without load. The electric motor operation is terminated after applying a waiting period (T1), if the D-relationship is smaller than a D-relationship-threshold value. The electric motor operation is continued, if the D-relationship is larger or equal to the D-relationship threshold value.
