The connector (1) has contact units (30) provided in a plastic housing, where the contact units are uniformly formed. Wire connection contacts are designed as wire-wrap-contacts (32), which are arranged in two rows. The wire-wrap-contacts of the different rows are shiftedly arranged with respect to each other. The wire-wrap-contacts are asymmetrically aligned with respect to a cradle contact (31). The contact units are alternately arranged in the connector and rotated around 180 degrees around a longitudinal axis (L) of the contact units.
