<p>An assembly of a knob for a transmission lever unit is provided to engage a lever to an insert integrally formed on a lower side of a knob wherein the insert has a coupling hole matching the coupling hole on the lever allowing a coupling member to fit through to couple the insert and the lever, thereby allowing easy assembly while reducing the assembly time. In an assembly structure of a knob comprising a knob(3), a skirt(5) installing to a lower side of the knob, and a lever(7) combining to the knob, an insert(9) is integrally formed to the lower side of the knob, and the knob and a rod is joined by using a fastening member(17) such as a cap screw. A fastening hole(15,15a) is transversely disposed on the insert, and the fastening hole is likewise disposed on an upper part of the lever, allowing the fastening member such as a cap screw to join the lever and the insert. The inset has engaging piece(11) formed vertically on two outer sides of the insert, and planar sides(19) are formed on transverse sides of the insert. Supporting protrusions(13) are formed on an upper part of the insert for supporting inner circumference of the skirt. The skirt has fitting recess(25) cut on an inner upper side for allowing the engaging piece to fit into, and has supporting partitions on two sides of inner lower part supporting on the planar sides of the insert to prevent the knob from being rotated.</p> |
