<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide highly reliable driving device and image forming device capable of saving spaces for installing them. <P>SOLUTION: A first protruding gear part 11 formed by extending teeth forming an engaging part 4 onto a cam side is provided on a driving gear 1, and a second protruding gear part 12 formed by extending teeth forming a chipped gear part onto a cam side is provided on a driven gear 2.
