MONOLITHIC REFRACTORY MOLDING MATERIAL AND MONOLITHIC REFRACTORY MOLDED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monolithic refractory molded body which is excellent in heat insulation property and mechanical strength and has high heat resistance and high mechanical processability, and to provide a molding material for producing the same.

SOLUTION: The monolithic refractory molding material contains 2-20 mass% inorganic hollow particles, 50-93 mass% at least one of amorphous silica and wollastonite and 5-50 mass% alumina cement. The monolithic refractory molded body is obtained by adding water to the monolithic refractory molding material, kneading the resulting mixture and curing the kneaded material, and has density of 0.8-2.0 g/cm3, bending strength of 2-20 MPa and a coefficient of thermal expansion of (0.1-7)×10-6/°C.
