<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material which excels in color developability, shows little ground fogging for heat and wet heat and moreover excels in every sort of shelf stability of a color-developed image. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal recording material is constituted by keeping a substrate overlaid with a thermal color developing layer which contains a normally colorless or light-colored color developable compound, a color developing compound developing the color developable compound on heating and an additive. The material contains a compound expressed by formula (1) and/or formula (2) as the color developing compound and at least an image storage stabilizer expressed by formula (3) (where R denotes a hydrogen atom or an 8 or less C alkyl group and n denotes 1-20) as the additive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
