<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument panel structure which shares an instrument panel when there is presence/absence of setting of an airbag according to the specification, and ensures the rigidity of the instrument panel for a specification without any airbag, at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The instrument panel structure has a retainer 12 arranged on an instrument panel 10 so as to cover an opening part 20 for developing an airbag, and a connection member 14 which is connected to an instrument panel reinforcement 26 (a vehicle body side reinforcing member) for supporting the instrument panel 10 of the specification without any airbag and connected to an edge 12A of the retainer 12 so as to support the instrument panel 10. By a simple constitution where the connection member 14 is connected to the edge 12A of the retainer 12, the instrument panel 10 is shared, and the rigidity of the instrument panel 10 of the specification without any airbag is ensured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
