<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic money management system aiming at increase in a purchaser's convenience. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic register stores purchase detail information concerning the purchase of an article and a total amount of the purchase of the article, and transmits information of a request for commencement of the settlement including at least the purchase detail information and the total amount to an electronic money management terminal through a reader/writer. The electronic money management terminal subtracts the total amount included in the information of the request for commencement of the settlement from the amount of the electronic money stored in itself, informs the electronic register of the completion of the settlement, and registers the purchase detail information included in the information of a request for commencement of the settlement to a purchase detail database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
