<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable electronic equipment which can drive a 1st light-emitting element for a 1st display means and a 2nd light-emitting element for a 2nd display means at a low driving voltage, and can, moreover, reduce leakage current and current fluctuation. <P>SOLUTION: The portable electronic equipment comprises: the 1st light-emitting element 23 for the 1st display means 15; the 2nd light-emitting element 24 for the 2nd display means 16 connected to the 1st light-emitting element 23 in series; and a drive control means 35 which drives on-off the 1st light-emitting element 23 at a duty ratio according to a dimming amount in the 1st display means, and controls driving of the 1st light-emitting element 23 and the 2nd light-emitting element 24 so as to drive on the 2nd light-emitting element 24 during the off-period of the 1st light-emitting element 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
