<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and surely confirm locking of an attached state of a unit to an apparatus main body after suppressing rising of apparatus cost. <P>SOLUTION: An electrical connection structure 30 electrically connects the apparatus main body 11 of an image forming apparatus 10 and a prescribed paper conveying unit 20 loaded to be freely attachable to/detachable from this apparatus main body 11. The electrical connection structure 30 is provided with: a main body side connector 42 provided to the apparatus main body side 11; a unit side connector 41 provided to the paper conveying unit 20 side to face the main body side connector 42; and a load applying means 60 applying a prescribed load for a connecting operation immediately before the connection of the unit side connector 41 to the main body side connector 42 and canceling the load in a state that both connectors 41 and 42 are completely connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
