摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high-torque and low-cost hybrid rotary electric machine structured, with a reduced-main-pole stator and a special two-permanent-magnet type HB rotor, and to provide its magnetization method. SOLUTION: A hybrid permanent magnet rotary electric machine has a stator of two-phase/four-main-pole, three-phase/three-main-pole, or five-phase/five-main-pole constructed by winding excitation coils around respective main poles that are formed radially on a polygonal, including a quadrangle, or substantially an annular magnetic substance, and also by forming a plurality of inductors, on the tip portion of each of the main poles. A rotor consists of two unit rotors. Each unit rotor consists of a pair of rotor cores. Two rotor cores, which are provided freely rotatable via an air gap and respectively have a plurality of N<SB>r</SB>teeth, sandwich an axially-magnetized permanent magnet, while being mutually arranged at a shift of 1/2 the pitch of a tooth pitch. Two pairs of the rotor cores are provided on a common rotating shaft as the unit rotors A, B so as to be adjacent to each other while interposing a conductive material between them. The rotor cores each other, respectively adjacent to the conductive material between the unit rotors A, B, have the identical tooth positions and are magnetized in the same polarity, and the rotor is assembled to the stator, by securing an air gap from both sides of the stator so as to be freely rotatable with a bracket on the unit rotor A side and a bracket on the unit rotor B side.
