PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure, an image display device and an image display system, constituted in such a manner that signal transmission can be performed stably, from a write apparatus to an image display device. SOLUTION: The image display device 1, connected to the write apparatus 2 during image writing, has a sheet-like display medium allowing electrical rewriting of the image and holding the written image, even after power source turning off and is provided with a signal receiving circuit 31 for receiving the signal from a signal transmission section 24 of the write apparatus 2 and a protective layer 32 and a water-repelling film 33, successively disposed on the surface of the signal reception circuit 31. Since the distance between the signal transmitting section 24 and the signal receiving circuit 31 can be kept fixed by the protective layer 32 and the water repelling film 33, signal transmission can be made stable.
