PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to narrowing of a frame by making the area that a peripheral terminal part occupies while having conventional functions by reviewing the constitution of the peripheral terminal part as a connection part for a driving IC formed in a display panel and the constitution of a flexible wiring board provided for illumination inspection, and to achieve elimination of a defect in contact between a contactor to input an inspection signal during illumination inspection and a connection part formed on the display panel and breakage due to contacting and improvement of an inspection efficiency percentage. SOLUTION: The display device and a substrate for the display device are such that the display device has the substrate where a driving signal supply line for supplying a driving signal driving a display part, and a plurality of connection parts electrically connecting the driving IC generating the driving signal and the driving signal supply line to each other are formed, and the connection parts of the substrate are each provided with an IC correction region 1 for electrically connecting the driving IC and driving supply signal line to each other and a connection region 2 for inspection provided continuously form the connection region 1.
