PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strainer which is easy to make, simple in structure, easy to assemble, and prevents components from being damaged while closing a gap between a strainer body and a screen to prevent foreign substances and rubbish from flowing out toward a secondary side, the strainer being capable of accurately, easily attaching the screen on and detaching it from the body. SOLUTION: In the strainer, an accommodation tube part 5 for accommodating a screen 8 is provided in a body 1 having connection aperture parts 2 and 3 on its first and secondary sides, and the aperture side of the accommodation tube part 5 can freely be closed with a cap 12. The outer diameter end part 10 on the secondary side of the screen 8, at least whose first side is open, is fit to a tapered face 14 formed on the inner diameter side of the cap 12 to fit the first side of the screen 8 to a fitting part 6 formed in the body 1 and hold it. On the lower side of the tapered face 14 of the cap 12, a diameter enlargement step part 15 is formed, which is a tilting area when the screen 8 is taken out. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
