PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional pole for a kitchen, which makes it possible to easily install a remote controller, switches, or the like for supplying hot water at a convenient position on the wall surface even when it is difficult to installing them on the wall surface. SOLUTION: The functional pole 28 for the kitchen is composed of a vertically supporting part 29 and an operation panel part 30, and supported from the floor of the kitchen. The operation panel part 30 is arranged at a height position between the waist and head of a general dweller. The vertically supporting part 29 can be composed of a metal bar such as a hollow pipe.
