<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform the detection processing of random noise generated from an image sensor (solid-state imaging device) and to easily perform reduction processing of the random noise. <P>SOLUTION: Respective pixel values of image data successively entered in each frame while shifting the image data in a time axis direction at a fixed time interval are extracted by a pixel value extraction means 141, each extracted pixel value is compared with a previously set first threshold by a pixel value judgment means 142 to judge whether the pixel value is the first threshold and less or not. Then the self-correlation rates of respective pixel values of the first threshold and less which exist on the same coordinate point in respective image data of a plurality of frames entered while shifting the image data in the time base direction at the fixed time interval are calculated by a self-correlation rate calculation means 143, whether the self-correlation rate is the second threshold and less or not is judged by a random noise judgment means 144, and when the self-correlation rate is judged as the second threshold and less, the existence of picture quality degradation in the image data due to a random noise is judged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
