<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric actuator mechanically implementing early jumping-in, without relying on control software. <P>SOLUTION: An input piston 21 with input thrust given from a brake pedal 25, and a booster piston 22 with booster thrust given from the electric actuator 30 are disposed to be relatively movable. Pistons 21, 22 are commonly used as primary pistons of a master cylinder 1, and they are normally retained at the neutral positions of the relative movement by springs 47. The input piston 21 is divided into two sections, that is, a piston main body 23 connected with the input rod 26, and a reaction force receiver 24 facing a pressure chamber 5A of the master cylinder 1. The reaction force receiver 24 is urged forward by a spring 50 having one end locked to the booster piston 22, a predetermined clearance δ is formed between the pressure receiver 24 and the piston main body 23.
