<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the compressed time of an upper arm or the like by quickly exhausting the fluid inside a cuff after accurately determining the diastolic blood pressure value in an electronic blood pressure monitor. <P>SOLUTION: A measurement end pressure calculation means 16 calculates the measurement end pressure based on pulse wave information when pressurizing the cuff 1. If the cuff pressure when determining the diastolic blood pressure value by a blood pressure value determination means 13 is lower than the measurement end pressure in a decompression process, a measurement end determination means 14 determines it as the measurement end, and a quick exhaust means 3 immediately performs the quick exhaust of the cuff 1.
