<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency sensor device with an antenna whose sidelobe is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: A high frequency sensor device has a transmitter generating a corrected transmission wave after determination, an antenna emitting the transmission wave and receiving as a reception wave, at least one of a reflected wave and a penetrated wave by an object of the transmission wave, and a receiver detecting the reception wave. The antenna includes a feed element with a patch electrode, and four passive elements with a patch electrode. The four passive elements are arranged in a form of X with the feed element as a center. In each of the four passive elements, a side parallel to an excitation direction and close to the feed element within the sides of the patch electrode has an opposing portion larger than zero and shorter than 1/4 wavelength within the feed elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
