<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having a water proof structure suitable for connecting a cable wired in a flat plate form. <P>SOLUTION: The connector 1 has a flat cable 100, connecting terminals 40, 50, a housing 60 in which the connecting terminal 40, 50 are housed and retained, a retainer 30 to retain the flat cable 100, a water proof rubber 20 to close an opening 68, and a cover 10 to cover the water proof rubber 30. In the water proof rubber 20, a post press-in recess 23 consisting of a recess which has opening in a rear face and extends forward, and a long hole part 21 which is penetrated through front and rear and in which the flat cable 100 is made to pass through front and rear are formed. A post 16 which protrudes forward and which is enabled to be pressed in the post press-in recess 23 is formed at the cover 10. Since when the cover 10 is mounted on the water proof rubber 20, the post 16 pressed into the post press-in recess 23 elastically pushes and spreads the post press-in recess 23, the flat cable 100 which is penetrated through the long hole part 21 is pressed and adhered to the water proof rubber 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
