PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metering scoop capable of metering a fixed amount of a material to be packed into a sandbag. SOLUTION: In this metering scoop 10 composed of a shovel 30 constituted of a bottom plate 27, side plates 24 provided at both sides of the bottom plate, and a back plate 25 provided at the rear side of the bottom plate, a handle 12, and a lid 21 surrounded by upper ends of the side plates 24 and the back plate 25, the lid 21 has a plurality of holes 22 at its surface and forms an opening 23 between the front side 29 of the bottom plate 27 and the lid. A worker takes a metering part 20 out of a heap 70 of materials, shakes the metering part 20, and shakes the materials sticking out over the metering part 20 off to obtain a fixed amount of the materials. Sandbags 71 having the same sizes can be always prepared without weighing the materials one by one, and the time required for laying sandbags 40 can be greatly shortened by using this measuring scoop 10, thereby largely improving economic effects.
