PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a nonmagnetic one-component developer by which an excellent image is obtained without generating filming in a developing device; a developing cartridge; and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The nonmagnetic one-component developer includes at least: base particles that contain a resin and a coloring agent; and an external additive added to a surface of the base particles, wherein the base particles are produced by a grinding method. The nonmagnetic one-component developer has a volume average particle diameter of 4.0-6.0μm, and has the external additive of 1.0-3.0 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the base particles, wherein the external additive has at least an average particle diameter of 30-110 nm.
