PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display wherein attachment and detachment of a mask can be easily performed and accurate positioning of the mask can be performed. SOLUTION: A frame-shaped corner supporting stand 12 is screwed and fixed to the surface of a panel holding part (heat sink) 11 holding a liquid crystal display panel 2 so as to enclose the liquid crystal display panel 2 and a parting member (the mask) 13 having an aperture part 13a is attachably and detachably positioned and fixed to the corner supporting stand 12 utilizing spring elasticity. When dust and the like adhere to the display surface of the liquid crystal display panel 2 in an assembling step or the like of the liquid crystal display, the parting member 13 is detached from the corner supporting stand 12 and the dust and the like can be easily removed and when deviation in position of the corner member 13 is generated to the liquid crystal display panel 2, a screw 14 is loosened, the mask 13 is moved together with the corner supporting stand 12 and the deviation in position can be corrected.
