PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending sheet capable of solving the problem that an outgoing angle corresponding to the peak value of brightness of illumination light becomes a value considerably deviated from the front surface and the brightness in the front face direction of illumination is deteriorated in the conventional technique, in a backlight which emits illumination light while successively converting an optical path by means of a light guide plate, a diffusion sheet and a prism sheet. SOLUTION: The bending sheet 7 is arranged in order to supplement a light-condensing function by the use of a diffusion sheet 3 and prism sheets 4, 5 in a backlight 10 which has a light emission source 2 of LED or the like, a light guide plate 1, the diffusion sheet 3, the lower prism sheet 4 and the upper prism sheet 5, in addition to the diffusion sheet 3 and the prism sheets 4, 5 and has a function of correcting the direction of light in the front face direction. The bending sheet 7 is constituted so that a plurality of prisms 7p having prism surfaces of rightward down-sloping moderate inclination are formed on its upper surface when viewed from an X-Y plane.
