PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade replacement type cutter which is integrally formed so as not to separate a back seat from a cutter body via a strip and does not protrude the back seat from the cutter body when the strip is broken. SOLUTION: In the blade replacement type cutter 1 including the cutter body 2, a replacement blade 4 inserted into an outer peripheral opening part 2a formed on the outer periphery of the cutter body 2 and the back seat 3 fixing the replacement blade 4 on the cutter body 2, the back seat 3 is integrally formed so as not to be separated from the cutter body 2 via the strip 5 extending from the cutter body 2 in the outer peripheral opening part 2a. The replacement blade 4 is inserted between the rotary rear wall of the outer peripheral opening part 2a and the back seat 3, and detachably fixed on the cutter body 2 by pressing the back seat 3 with a male screw 6 screwed into a female screw part 2b passing through the rotary front wall of the outer peripheral opening part 2a. A protrusion prevention structure is formed between the back seat 3 and the outer peripheral opening part 2a which prevents a protrusion of the back seat 3 from the outer peripheral opening part 2a to the outside in a diameter direction when the strip 5 is broken.
