<p>A composition and treatment regimen for the amelioration of epidermal herpetic lesions caused by Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV-1) symptoms, Herpes Zoster, and Herpes Genitalia. The treatment includes a regimen of oral administration of a composition including from about 15 to 50 mg of zinc sulfate, from about 5 to 20 mg of magnesium sulfate, from about 15 to 60 mg of thiamin, from about 10 to 30 mg of riboflavin, from about 4 mg to 12 mg of pyridoxine hydrochloride, from about 300 to 1000 mg of ascorbic acid, from about 90 to 300 mg of niacin, and from about 20 to 70 mg of pantothenic acid. The composition and regimen may optionally include an efficacious amount of an amino acid, and preferably about 500 mg of lysine.</p> |
