<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate unit capable of improving strength without degrading luminance. <P>SOLUTION: This light guide plate unit 10 is provided with: a light guide plate 11 guiding light from a linear light source device 21 arranged on one side surface to emit it as illumination light from a main light emitting surface S2; and a case frame 12 holding a light control sheet 13 adjusting an optical characteristic of the illumination light from the light guide plate 11, and comprising a diffusion sheet 131, a first prism sheet 132 and a second prism sheet 133.
