<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller, an original reading apparatus, and a motor control method that can improve the throughput of original reading without requiring unnecessary waiting time before a motor starts moving. <P>SOLUTION: This motor controller comprises a position detection means 124, which detects an output signal outputted according to the revolutions of a motor 50 and measures a transfer amount, a timer means 106, which generates a timer signal at every prescribed intervals, a power addition control means 112, which performs control to increase electric power supplied to the motor 50 by adding a fixed value to stand-by power when the lapse of a predetermined time interval is measured, a waiting time measurement means 111a, which starts counting the timer signals from the timer means 106 when no output signal is detected, and an addition value increasing means 111, which determines whether or not the value counted by the waiting time measurement means 111a reaches a preset specified waiting time and increases the addition value when the count value reaches the specified waiting time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
