<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain improvement in a yield of panels, high definition of pixels, and reduction in manufacturing costs by simplifying pixel circuits of a color display apparatus to reduce the total number of elements. <P>SOLUTION: Each of RGB pixels includes: a sampling transistor Tr1 for sampling a video signal and a holding capacity Cs for holding the sampled video signal; a driving transistor Trd for outputting a driving current according to the held video signal for a light-emitting period; and a light-emitting element EL for emitting light in one of RGB colors assigned according to the driving current. In order to connect the driving transistor Trd for each of the RGB pixels to a power supply line Vcc for the light-emitting period, the three pieces of RGB pixels are provided with one switching transistor Tr4 provided in common. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
