摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device in which bend transition is conducted at high speed, and an aperture ratio is sufficiently ensured, a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal device, electronic equipment and a projector. <P>SOLUTION: Since a first counter electrode 37 with which an electric field is applicable to a liquid crystal layer between the pixel electrode 24 and itself, and a second counter electrode 38 which is arranged so as to make a lateral electric field be applicable to the liquid crystal layer between the first counter electrode 37 and itself are provided on a counter substrate facing a TFT array substrate and having the pixel electrode 24 mounted thereon, even when wiring is not separately arranged on regions between the pixel electrodes 24, the lateral electric field is applicable to the liquid crystal layer between the first counter electrode 37 and the second counter electrode 38 of the counter substrate side.
