<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint with an emergency shut-off valve in which the effective cross section of a flow passage is large and the pressure loss is small. <P>SOLUTION: A tube connecting part 1, a columnar valve 2 in which a first flow passage 20 is formed, and a spring 3 for urging the valve 2 to the side of the tube connecting part 1 are disposed in order on a straight line or a substantially straight line L1, and a second flow passage 4 is disposed on a straight line L2 crossing the straight line L1. When a pushing amount of a tube T to the tube connecting part 1 reaches a completely connected position, the tube T and the second flow passage 4 become communicated via the first flow passage 20 of the valve 2 pushed by the end of the tube T. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
