<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a proper inspection interval for each of component groups in a large diesel engine, in particular, a marine heavy oil fuel diesel engine using a device recording operation data of the large diesel engine during operation. <P>SOLUTION: The device finds an importance factor for each of components or for each of the component groups from the stored operation data of the large diesel engine to each of the component groups of the large diesel engine, and based on the importance factor, the inspection interval for each of the component groups of the large diesel engine is calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
