PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder forming method with which an image recorder with an image formed in a desired position can be formed without causing positional deviation even in the case of formation of an image recorder with the image formed on a small-sized recording medium whose thickness is≥300μm. SOLUTION: The image recorder forming method includes: an overlapping process to make a transfer material having an image on the surface thereof and a holder that holds the recording medium overlap each other so that the surface with the image formed of the transfer body may face the surface of the recording medium held by the holder; and a transfer process to transfer the image from the surface of the transfer body to the surface of the recording medium by applying one processing selected out of heating processing and pressurizing processing on the transfer body and the recording medium that overlapped each other.
