METHOD AND SYSTEM OF PUBLIC SWITCHED TELEPHONE NETWORK COMMUNICATING WITH IP MULTIMEDIA SUBSYSTEM

A method and system of a Public Switched Telephone Network communicating with an IP Multimedia Subsystem, the method is: a strategy implementation unit being inserted in the side of the Public Switched Telephone Network which is in the transmission layer of an IP load-carrying net at the adjacent point of the IP Multimedia Subsystem and the Public Switched Telephone Network; after receiving the traffic request from the Public Switched Telephone Network, the IP Multimedia Subsystem sending a Quality of Service authorization request to a Resource Admission Control Subsystem; the Resource Admission Control Subsystem completing a Quality of Service guarantee processing according to the Quality of Service authorization request, and sending a Quality of Service strategy to the strategy implementation unit; the strategy implementation unit installing the Quality of Service strategy. The Quality of Service of data stream is controlled by adding the strategy implementation unit to the side of the Public Switched Telephone Network which is in the transmission layer of an IP load-carrying net.
