<p>The invention relates to a magnetic resonance (MR) method, in particular for magnetic resonance imaging of at least a portion of a body placed in a stationary and substantially homogeneous main magnetic field. According to this method nuclear magnetization is excited within a spatially restricted navigator volume by subjecting said portion to a navigator sequence (NAV), from which MR navigator signals are measured. Thereafter, the nuclear magnetization within said navigator volume is transformed back into longitudinal magnetization by subjecting said portion to a navigator unlabeling sequence (UNLBL). Finally, a series of MR signals is generated by subjecting said portion to a sequence of at least one RF pulse and/or at least one gradient pulse and measuring said MR signals.</p> |
