The rewinder has a base plate (1), a bearing block (2) fastened to the base plate and a coil retainer (3) that is supported in the bearing block in a rotatable manner. A sleeve is inserted into the bearing block, and an adjustable slider with a stop is inserted into the base plate. A shaft is arranged at the base plate and is movable over a slot. Another shaft is movable on a compensator (10) that is movable and enables an easy removal of bandage ligations. The retainer is brought into a rotating movement by a crank-handle of a hand wheel (18).
