<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alumina/mullite-based firing tool which is excellent in bend resistance and thermal shock resistance in high-speed firing and can be desirably used as a tool for firing an electronic component. <P>SOLUTION: The firing tool comprises a fired product obtained by firing a raw material comprising 60-80 wt.% alumina powder and 20-40 wt.% mullite powder of a particle size of 100-600 μm at 1,550-1,750°C, wherein the raw material has the following particle size composition: 40-60 wt.% particles with sizes of above 45 to 600 μm, 20-40 wt.% particles with sizes of above 10 to 45 μm, and 20-40 wt.% particles with sizes of 10 μm or smaller, and the alumina powder entirely constitutes the particles with sizes of 45 μm or smaller in the raw material powder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
